It seems to me, the only people who know about changing the affiliate ID are those in the Internet Marketing Get Rick Quick field. Normal people don't know about these things.

So the only people these affiliate cloaking softwares ever stopped, where other marketers of similar products.

Almost no-one in fields out side of Internet Marketing Get Rick Quick knew about how to steal an affiliate's ID.

WHat this means is: sell stuff that is not related to the Internet Marketing Get Rick Quick field and you won't have to worry about having your affiliate ID stolen.

Will Clickbank's new security put an end to affiliate cloaking software? I doubt it. The affiliate stealers are pretty savvy. So the software will have to overcome their savvyness.
