Long interviews have their place if the listener is going to spend time just listening. But who has that kind of time these days. Consider the multiple track method. It's bite size pieces of information and it allows your listeners the option of stopping and knowing where they left off, rather than having to scan or fast forward to the last place they think, they left off. Also as you create your interview CDs you can have the interview setup as a per topic format. Still conduct your interview but go back later and edit your content but make each track a topic of discussion or topic of focus. You can provide your comments or comments from others on the answers given to you by the person you interviewed. |
