![]() Hello everyone,
I haven't been here forever. Well, would you believe, not since last year?! :-) Actually, I haven't been here since 290 messages ago! I hate knowing I have missed some really great thoughts, ideas, and suggestions...but, with the holidays... I hope Dien doesn't mind if I post this question here (I also posted the question on another board). My reason to post on different boards? ...to get different people's thoughts, and to see if anyone has had the same experience. O.K. Now for the situation/question: "Occasionally, we receive requests asking for a free copy of our book, How to Flatten Your Stomach. Each time, the person states that, yes, the price is incredibly low ($5.95), but why can't we just give the book away for free? If this has happened to you, what type of questions did this invoke in your mind? Or, if it hasn't happened to you personally, why do you think people would ask to receive your product for free? I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions... you may just help me solve a problem I didn't know existed." Thanks in advance, Diane Everroad P.S. I hope all of you had a Magical Christmas! For me, it was one of the nicest in many years... we were able to spend time with our children, grandchilden, and family members ranging from 11 months to 90 years young. You don't need to spend 2 months salary on exercise equipment to flatten your stomach... invest only $5.95 and Get the Results you want! ![]() |

![]() if they are not prepared to pay a very reasonable price to help them realise their 'dream' of being a smaller size or whatever then forget them.
They are not going to buy your backend products for higher amounts of money ( I presume there are some) so you will be wasting your time on them if they stall over $5 odd. Instead concentrate on your existing customers, ask them what morre they want from you and offer it to them with as many added benefits as possible ie give them more than they asked for or expected. Let the ones who wont pay stay fat and probably unhappy that their dream havnt been and never will be realised until they are prepared to make the effort. Obviously dont be rude to them but have an autoresponse set up reaffirming the guarantee, the benefits, that the dream can be realised, but that if they do not feel their happiness is worth $5.95 then you are unable to help them mike (I dream of a six pack) bailey |
