![]() >Gordon,
I had, (and may still have), a copy of James K. Van Fleet's book entitled "How To Influence People" or something similar. You've made me anxious to find it to reread. I don't recall having any other Parker Publishing books in particular. Bruce Arnold I once had a great collection of books, > baseball cards, comics, and assorted papers. > It was lost in the "great flood", > NO, not the one with Noah, although my beard > may make you think so. > But one of my favorite group of books were > from Parker Publishing out of West Nyack NY. > ODD books on strange subjects, as well as > buiness books too. > Just wondered if anyone else was in the book > club and if so, what were your favorites? > Gordon Alexander > PS. ![]() true, that GREAT minds think alike?
Maybe we can work out a deal for the Harvey Brody stuff. I spoke with Harvey last week, and he thinks HIS old work is worthless when held up against what he is doing NOW...and after listening to him, SPELLBOUND, I think he may be right. Imagine that Bruce...Harvey of yesteryear...terrific...Harvey of today... AWESOME.... Let's hope he decides to share his secrets with a deserving few. I'll be the first in line if deemed worthy... I liked James K. Van Fleet earlier works, especially the mental stuff... Gordon Alexander |

And it isn't even officially open yet! Harvey Brody, Herman Holtz,George Haylings,( I LOVE his "A Lifetime Of Homework"). All names from my past studies. This internet thing is great. I think it might catch on!!! If Harvey Brody thinks his new stuff makes his old stuff seem WORTHLESS, I'm stunned. Where do I sign up for the new stuff? I trust you got the E-Mail from me with the list of Mr. Brody's materials I found. Just let me know which you want and let's work out the details. Best, Bruce (NameDropper) Arnold P.S. - I like the idea of a central source lending library or idea center for the old classics. |

![]() Bruce,
Last week TWO people blew my mind...the first was Herschell Gordon Lewis who sent a COMMUNIQUE (for you Geo. Haylings fans) OK, so it was an e-mail, which I forwarded to Dien. We're keeping the contents of the communique top secret for now, but, Mr. Lewis gave us incredible advice in two brief paragraphs, more in one sentence than I've read in all 18 of his books... AWESOME.... then I spoke to Harvey Brody on the phone...I had called him about two years ago, hoping to catch the reprint rights to his old stuff...he wasn't interested in that... Then, last week, he told me what he is doing TODAY is 100 times better than what I learned in his big course 18 years ago. The man has NO employees, makes more money, has more time off, and a very manageable number of clients, like 3M, Sears, and others... I was speechless, I want to know the details... But, Harvey is not quite ready yet to bring them forth, mainly because of TIME CONSIDERATIONS, and when you are 68, making as much money as you can count, more in a day than most earn in a year, BY FAR... You're in good health, you have a handle on things, then what would be the MOTIVATION for Harvey to make the time investment he needs to make, for him to WORK HARDER??? For MONEY??? Hardly.... But I've got my fingers crossed that he will figure something out...and that he may find us deserving of his knowledge...as for me, I can't sleep just thinking about it... So, hold on to the OLD H. Brody stuff, why would I want that NOW, knowing there is something 100 times better, and Bruce, you and I know the old stuff was GREAT.... Here's to hoping that Harvey makes his hard-won knowledge available to a future generation of Entreprenuers, like us.... Gordon (SPELLBOUND AND SPEECHLESS IN OHIO) Alexander PS. Harvey Brody paid his DUES, working on a per diem basis with such money making geniuses as Ron Popeil and E. Joseph Cossman... And NOW he has gone to the top... A MASTER OF MASTERS |
