Hi Phil,
Thanks for linking to those posts... Especially the reminder of Gordon's prediction from last year (which so far has been coming true)... Most of the news you see is strictly "doom and gloom". However, there are "beacons of light" also shining through the darkness... You just have to look a little harder for them... Every change closes some old doors, and opens up some new ones... The winners are those who "hop to it"! Here's a quick "recap" of some recently mentioned success-stories that are happening "right now"... Definitely... Especially coming up with those innovative business ideas that Help relieve stress, out of the box or maybe just plain Crazy! If you ever get a chance... Treat yourself and go out for supper at a well known Greek restaurant that has Belly dancer performances and allows you to Break all your dishes! Yes believe it or not... Makes for a Great evening and all kinds of Fun! When I first heard about Sarah Lavely's smashing business, it reminded me of that Greek restaurant experience... Who says Consumers don't spend all kinds of Money during a Recession? Do yourself a favor. DON'T give the customers what they WANT.
