"Don't Buy XYZ Until You Read This" - Clever Idea

You can get the same effect without being an SOB by doing a purely HELPFUL report that says, "WARNING: Don't hire/buy a __________ until you read this surprising report..."

Then you go on to tell the 'right' way to hire/buy a [whatever]. Tricks + traps, so to speak. What to look out for, pitfalls, etc. All slanted, of course, to favor what/who YOU are offering.

That way, it is NOT a put-down of anyone in particular!! The report is a primer on how to hire/buy [whatever], in general.
