I'm glad that this has been useful! I tend to read a lot online, and I think sometimes I get a lot of "eye fatigue"... So sometimes, I need a little "help" in making some of the text more readable! So this website is something I use a lot of myself... By the way, another website I use if I want to "save" something to read later, is I use the "Instapaper" website www.instapaper.com . While this is really designed to work with some software for the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, you can actually use it with your regular desktop/laptop computer for free. What it does is you get a free "Instapaper" account. Then, you can save a "bookmarklet" to your Favorites/Bookmarks. Whenever you want to "save" an article you're currently reading in your browser, you click on the little "bookmarklet". That saves it to your "Instapaper" account. You can also have different categories, so you can save directly to the category you want. Then, when you want to read it later, you just go back into your "Instapaper" account, and see the article saved there. It also saves the text of the article, so if the article later disappears from the website, you still have it! Then, after you've read it, you can either delete it or "archive" it (which means you can still look it up later in the "archive" section of your account). (While you don't need an iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, if you have one of these, you can also use their software to read and organize things using your device.) Randy, I'm glad that you've "bounced back" quite a lot since your stroke! When you think about it, we all have a lot to be grateful for, in our specific lives... Me too. My health was terrible for much of this year (mostly weight-related stuff - sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and even possibly diabetes) - but the past few months I've lost quite a bit of weight and these problems have cleared up or improved... Thanks for your post, Randy! Best wishes, Dien |
