Default Pete Egeler

Hi, folks - as many of you knew Pete Egeler, I thought I would pass on the sad news about his death - http://www.isurfnewsowensboro.com/ob...te-egeler.html - I believe he had been diagnosed with some form of cancer. Rest in peace, Pete.

Hi Margaret,

That is very sad news...

I never met Pete in person, though I did have email correspondences with him. I also purchased a couple of websites which he created from him, when he felt it was time to sell them.

My impression of Pete was that you couldn't find a more decent, nice, honest, and down-to-earth guy than him...

His passing is a great loss for those of us who knew him online, though of course my heart especially goes out to his family...

However, it was also a blessing that the light of such a nice and decent person could be shared with us during his time on earth. He was, and continues to be, an inspiration to all of us.

Well said, Dien.
I just posted on FIB, but you were right on the money.
Pete was a gentleman, a nice guy, a "virtual friend," if you will, for many of us.

I know Pete was always helpful, honest and responsive. A class act who will be missed.

Wow, Pete's gone.

I lost touch with him a few years back. Bought some of his writings. I agree. Real stand up guy. He will be missed.

Thanks for the update.

Hi Margaret,

Thank you for letting us know.

Pete was a great guy. Had many brainstorming talks with him. In fact he was one of the people that got me started in IM.

My wife would answer the phone and they would talk about things not IM. Some of their conversations were longer then mine and pete's

I wonder if they are "talking" right now.

RIP Pete

Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the info and update...

Definitely terrible news, especially since Pete, I believe, was working so hard to help his wife through some difficult times and serious health issues of her own...

Hope his wife, family and friends are doing ok...

Condolences to Everyone who Got to know Pete in their Own little way over the years...

Gave Pete a Quick little marketing Plug 4 years back or so... Pete's “Awesome” radio voice and 30-years of on-air broadcast experience in radio, TV, and Industrial productions... Good ol' internet memories...

Have a Quick listen to Pete's demo...

So unfortunate... Once again, Treat your Health as one of your Most important assets! Make sure you fully Appreciate each and Every Day and Take the best care of yourself possible...

Quick worthwhile copy and paste in Pete's memory...

Live Each Day to the Fullest

Live each day to the fullest.
Get the most from each hour, each day,
and each age of your life.
Then you can look forward with confidence,
and back without regrets.

Be yourself... but be your best self.
Dare to be different and follow your own star.
Don't be afraid to be happy
...enjoy what is beautiful.
Love with all your heart and soul.
Believe that those you love, love you.

When you are faced with decision,
make that decision as wisely as possible,
then forget it.

The moment of absolute certainty never arrives.
And above all, remember that God helps those
who help themselves. Act as if everything depended on you
And pray as if everything depended on God.
