I made $780 TODAY...

I didn't have to "approach" this restaurant. THEY contacted ME...to provide them with "Take-Out Menus"....since I was already providing them with free "regular" menus.

However....to get another restaurant to agree to let me provide them with FREE "Take-Out Menus"....I'd just walk in...ask for the owner....introduce myself to owner...HAND HIM a Menu I did for the other restaurant and say, "I provide FREE "Take-Out Menus" to restaurants.....FULL Color on 100lb Glossy Stock, just like this one. The reason it's free to you is because I get other restaurants to pay for an Ad on it!"

I then ask him a "closing" question; "Can I make some for you?"

He'll either say "OK!" or "No! When he says, "OK!"....I ask if I can come back after lunch and go over my List of possible advertisers....I'd rather put business people on this who are REGULARS. Would 1:30 be good or would 2 be better?"

That's the extent of my "Canned" pitch. They either want it or they don't.

Same with selling the ads. I get a List of Regulars (and...people he does business with, like his Insurance Agent, HVAC guy, Carpet Cleaner, etc) from the owner and either phone them or drop in. (I prefer just dropping in...except for service people who I have to phone first)

I walk in....ask for name of person on my List....tell him, "I'm working with Charley's restaurant over on Main St. I'm providing them with Take-Out Menus and Charley thought you'd like to have an Ad here since you're a regular. A space is only $_____ and only ONE of each type of business.

"Your business card can fit right here. Do you have a business card"?

If he hands me his biz card...he's Bought! I just grab my Order Form from my binder....fill it in....hand it to him to "OK" and collect his check.

Easy-Peasy!

You could drop me from a plane...anywhere in this country where there's a restaurant (DIner's work great for this) and....within 3 days...I'd have 8 to 10 Ads sold.

Talk about "Instant Cash"! This one is an "Automatic"....mainly because it's not just me....asking prospects to spend money! It's me....along with the OK from the restaurant owner. It's almost like "Charley" himself asking them to participate. Powerful stuff! And....you don't have to memorize a "Pitch"...just go in and tell prospects what you're doing....where....how many or how long....and...how much. Assume they're buying by starting to write up the order. If they stop you...answer their objection and continue writing up the order.

I did a survey yesterday to see how many restaurants had Take-Out Menus. Out of 10 restaurants contacted....7 had take-out menus. Most looked like they were made by 2yr olds who had just learned how to type. Just type on white or colored paper...run thru a copier AND....NOT ONE WAS IN A HANDY, OPEN SPACE. They ALL had to "Hunt" for it. Including the fancy Franchise places with Full Color Take-Outs.

Anyway....it's just a matter of...making a Mock-Up and going out and Showing it to people.
