Default CASH. Food. Community.

I've been through a few hurricanes, a couple of tornados and a typhoon and a devastating flood.

When the supply lines get interrupted, it takes about TWO days for the supermarkets to be empty.

NOW, next time you go to the supermarket, LOOK around and imagine what this store will look like with empty shelves. Can you imagine it?

I think it's going to happen before the summer is out. Hope I'm wrong. Probably am.

But if that store is empty, where will you go for your Food? Think the Walmart will be stocked?

Having some extra food in your pantry is not a bad idea, is it?

Having CASH on hand, is that a bad idea?

Forming a community, or joining a Co-Op to increase your buying power, is that a bad idea?

Planting a back yard garden...bad idea?

The long hot summer will be upon us before you know it. After the spring floods.

Be prepared. So say the boyscouts. Bad idea?

I don't think so.

Food. CASH. Buying power. It won't hurt you any to be prepared.

Gordon J Alexander

PS. I'm personally not big on freeze dried foods, that is, the ones you buy in bulk, I think you can do OK at your local Sams, Costco or large box wholesale company and sharing with friends and family.
