Internet veterans have a tendency to sling about acronyms as if everyone knew what they meant. It's even worse when you've dealt with the computer and software industry all your working life. Acronyms are a way of life for us. Add the Navy influence to that; you know, CINCPAC, CINCLANT, JAG, BUPERS, BUMED, NAVPERS, COMSUBRON, (threw that one in there for you Gordon *g*), and on and on and well... I just can't help myself. Perhaps I can dig up an old list of Internet acronyms I had once. (I think there are others as well.)
