![]() Hi Linda!
Seeing your post brought a smile to my face. The Desiderata touched my heart many years ago. I have it printed on parchment paper and showcased beautifully in an elegant gold frame. It hangs in it's place of honor just about 2 feet away from my computer. When I relax my eyes and take them off the screen for a few moments, my eyes usually 'rest' on The Desiderata. It is a wonderful philosophy to live by. I read somewhere that people who read The Desiderata experience a 'calming feeling'. Interesting. I know it usually does it for me when Life is chaotic. Thanks for posting it. For those who aren't familar with it, I believe that it is certainly worthy of an introduction. A great piece of writing! :) ~Amber |

![]() Hi Linda and Amber!
Thank you Linda.... Believe it or not, I've never read the Desiderata before.... I loved it! > I read somewhere that people who read The > Desiderata experience a 'calming feeling'. > Interesting. I know it usually does it for > me when Life is chaotic. Amber, this is the experience I had when reading it.... It was like I could slow down a little and relax, just savor and appreciate the moment and who I am.... Find that calm amidst the chaos.... Thanks! I like the idea of hanging it on your wall.... I think I'll print it out and do that too. :) - Dien |

![]() Hi Linda, Dien, Amber and All!

Naturally, Amber, our lives have that divinely inspired connection. AND its terrific to share that connection with Linda, Dien and everyone else! What a delight! AND! I just quoted the opening line in an article I wrote a week ago, and a reader asked for the entire piece, which I found and emailed him. I love when pieces are knit together so gloriously!
