Hi all,

No he's not crazy... Exactly what Gordon predicted back on 19 September 2000 on this very forum has started.... It is real, very real!

What we have seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg.

I've been seriously following Gordon's words of wisdom since his post entitled
"A quick word on the recession, the one that is here..."

In fact I saved that post on my harddrive and printed it out...To remind myself of why I'm working so hard to build my online information business.

In Australia, our government just reported our first quarter of negative growth for years. The newspapers are talking recession. Our dollar is now worth about half the US greenback, and still our exports remain too expensive.
Manufacturing industries are laying off staff, left, right and centre. Employment figures are low. State Branch offices are closing, and retreating back to head office amalgamation in Sydney in household word electronic companies.
The housing industry (Our biggest) is at a standstill. Petrol prices are hitting and remaining at a $1 per litre, even after federal government excise has been reduced. Sales are down in industrial plant and machinery. Consumer confidence is down.... These are just some of the signs of things to come.

Recessions are part of a natural cycle... It's a "cleansing process" you could say... And the cycle has began!
