Marketing Question

Hello.....I have a website called "Internet Doorway" (http://www.internetdoorway.com)....I WAS going to sell this site, along
with the Domain, to ONE company but....I'm wondering IF a BUNCH of
companies would be willing to pop $500/YR to have a Link on this site....to increase
their "Link Exposure" (which could give them higher rankings in the search engines)

What do YOU think? Do YOU think companies would pay to just have a Link on a
site like this....with a unique name like "Internet Doorway"?

Here's more info on clarifying my Marketing Question;

"Do YOU think companies would pay to just have a "Link" on a site like this....with a unique name like "Internet Doorway"?....just so they could have another way of getting extra Traffic to their websites?

My site would have a "List of Categories" where clicking on a category would bring up participating companies names and Links to their sites (In the form of a Directory of sorts)
