Thanks Phil! Great post, demonstrating some of the opportunities out there!

Over the years, I've come across a few ways to sell second-hand clothing

As Phil mentioned, you can sell old clothes as "vintage". Many people do this online, such as on eBay and other websites - especially for brand name items in good condition.

Another thing I've seen is to sell "unique" clothes not made any more, such as T-shirts which were made to commemorate rock concert tours, for instance, or those tied to a particular event in the past.

I haven't looked lately, but a few years ago when I was thinking to test this, you could easily find these kinds of T-shirts very cheaply in thrift stores...

Fans of the Rolling Stones, for example, could spend big bucks for an authentic original vintage T-shirt commemorating their 1994/1995 "Voodoo Lounge Tour" (just as an example)...

Another approach (on a completely different scale) is to sell second hand clothes in bulk to less economically developed countries.

You can see people doing this on AliBaba, selling them, for example, by the containerload.

(I know a couple of people who make a good living doing something similar to this...)

Best wishes!
