![]() First, sorry I've been "missing in action" for a little while. Before I get to the unusual resume, here's why...
I was diagnosed with diabetes last year, and have been having some medical and medication-related issues. However, I think I'm "on track" to getting this thing under control (I've gone on a low-fat, low-carb diet, for one thing, though I supplement with some olive oil, as I found that going too "low-fat" seems to slow me down mentally...) Now - on to the issue at hand! Why should you care about this guy's unusual resume? Well, it relates to sales... Specifically, getting attention! Here's the guy's "weird" online resume! http://www.phildub.com ![]() If you look at it, it looks like he's selling himself on Amazon.com! But - take a second look. He's just made his website "look like" it's on Amazon... Does it get attention? Did it work? He got a ton of publicity! Check out some of the media which have written news articles, just about his resume... Media such as Time, Slate, The Huffington Post, The Independent (UK), and the Daily Mail (UK)... http://www.google.com/search?q="Philippe+Dubost" What it does well is "get attention"... ...Which is the first step of the sales process! (And a resume is really just another kind of "sales letter"...) Best wishes, Dien |
