I do agree, there are lots of opportunities with pets...

The "umbrella leash" looks useful, if you must walk your dog in the rain!

Another relatively new opportunity is in pet rental. There is some controversy about it from animal rights groups. On the other hand, interacting with a pet can have great health and stress-reducing benefits, and not everyone is able to own a cat or a dog for long periods. Renting a pet could potentially really solve problems.
