![]() Bitcoin is open source. So a lot of people have worked on it.
It begin 5 years ago or so when someone using the pen name of Satoshi Nakamoto published a 9 page whitepaper on the bitcoin protocol on a cryptography mailing list. The start was pretty slow with only a few people interested in it initially. The 9 page white paper is pretty awesome to read too - however it is a bit technical. http://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf |

![]() Thanks Doc,
For spending munny a former Cambodian Millionaire associate of mine says he drove into the city in Cambodia and Rented Movies. Set up a tent and Charged a quarter per person to show movies on the inside tent walls. As a Hedge against hyper-inflation - he bought a car every morning. Sold it every evening. BitCoin Values SeeSaw up and down so rapidly and Radically. Best advice - seems to be to HEDGE. A - Only put munny INTO BitCoin if you plan to spend it quickly. Same day. B - IF you Invest munny in BitCoin longer term - make sure it's munny you can afford to Throw away. Glenn |

![]() Correct. Bitcoins is high risk - high returns.
Most people don't have an appetite for taking risks with investments and bitcoins is not for them. For them, I would recommend a permanent portfolio strategy. 25% gold, 25% cash, 25% equity, 25% bonds. (Gold for inflation, cash for deflation, equity for prosperity, bonds for recession. So you're covering your base for all kinds of situation and should be good as a long term investment strategy for retirement.) I personally put aside 10% of my investment portfolio for very high risk high returns investments. My risk appetite is a bit more than most. I figure that I can do with 90% of my money what I could do with 100% of it - without missing much. And so I invest in some very new things with my risk money. |

![]() Thanks Ankesh,
I'm Writing a New Advanced NLP Copywriting book, "Dead Parrot NLP Copywriting." About 100 Pages of Case Studies and Examples - so far - Mostly adapted Ideas - from billionaire J.K. Rowlings Harry Potter books. What J.K. Does to ADDICT kids to her books is WRITE TO THEIR UNconscious minds. Here's how we apply that to get Strangers to Answer Emails... "DOUBLE CHECKING w/Ankesh-glenn Ok. Seems Ordinary enough. But this subject line gets Me a Great Many More E-MAIL Replies than before. A couple of the Sneaky Things going on in the Subject Line Are: I - Your UNconscious mind thinks "HA! I must know this guy. We've exchanged emails before. II - The UNconscious also says, "Ooops. I must have missed something Important that was already sent." So. Instead of FEELING Awkward cuz this is the 1st email from a STRANGER. The Prospect ANSWERS because obviously we're in the middle of a conversation - ALREADY. Try it. Works good. Thanks, Glenn Osborn P.S. - J. K. Rowling gets inside the UNconscious Emotions of her readers in a similar way. So much so that 1000's of kids and adults are in TREATMENT with psychologists - because of Harry Potter WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS. |

![]() Thanks Midasman for the subject line tips.
I've actually found that just having the workding: [VIDEO] in my subject line has boosted my open rates by about 15-20%. (The word "FREE" tends to get my email caught up in some spam filters.) |

Thanks for sharing that! I've been reading about this (and various other things Bitcoin-related)... My "worry" with Bitcoin, at least in the States, is that the "gummint" tends not to like alternative currencies... For example, you can read about the creator of "Liberty Dollars" here. He was found guilty of making "counterfeit coins" and described by some as partaking in "domestic terrorism"... (He's still waiting to be sentenced...) http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/25/us...anted=all&_r=0 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_von_NotHaus I'm not saying that it's right. I'm just pointing out, in general, you don't want the government as your enemy. They will always have deeper pockets than you and more power than you have. Having said that, there are "private currencies" which are legal in the USA... (The situation will probably also differ from country to country... Apparently bitcoins have been ruled to be legal currency in Germany...) Best wishes, Dien |
