I read a few of the blog posts - that's a very educational blog! It shows you that you can do it... Takes a will to do some work, and a little "elbow grease" - but it's doable...

There are actually many different ways to make money from second-hand stuff. I know a guy who makes a good living from second-hand shoes. He buys the unsold second-hand shoes from thrift stores by the pound. He then sorts them (and throws away the bad ones, keeps the good ones), and packs them into shipping containers. He then sells them internationally by the container-load. (Yes, there is an international market for second-hand shoes.)

So, there are a lot of opportunities out there...
