| Re: WOW! A GREAT-NEW WAY to sell PLR Videos! Great idea Don, when you mentioned it earlier for other services, I thought about doing it. In fact I did contact a few, but I went slowly since I do not want my facebook account banned. But it is certainly worth looking into. Trevor |

I found a web page which says that "spam" is when a message is both unsolicited and sent in bulk... I think Don's talking about sending individual messages (i.e. not in bulk)... I envisioned he wasn't talking about sending too many messages (after all, you're only wanting to contact local businesses of a certain type)... Anyway, that's how it looks to me, as a non-expert... I tried to find examples of any mention of Facebook banning people for doing what Don is talking about, and I couldn't find any through a few quick searches (but feel free to correct me)... Best wishes, Dien Last edited by Dien Rice : May 27, 2015 at 07:16 AM. |

| Re: Spam or Not? Who cares Hi Dien, I learned the hard way years ago with my ebay account that it doesn't always matter how I interpret the gray areas. I was technically working within the boundaries but I had no power or say in the matter. I was entirely at their mercy and discretion... and honestly not worth their time or attention. I never got that account back. I would think facebook would be similar situation. If enough people decide to report it as spam and your account gets flagged then you are a small fish and nuisance to a support person at facebook who may not care to hear your interpretation. I'm not saying that I wouldn't do it... but I would be cautious with my own account and if it looks like a good direction to go then I would personally create another account for this purpose that I wouldn't mind losing. | Re: WOW! A GREAT-NEW WAY to sell PLR Videos! Dien, I think it is a legitimate method and will work. I am just being ultra cautious. Maybe, too cautious. I think maybe 10 to 20 contacts in a day might be fine. Ron made the point that I was thinking, you don't want any complaints, after all you only have one facebook account. | Re: WOW! A GREAT-NEW WAY to sell PLR Videos! I have 2 FB accounts and.....because in order to send Messages one must click on the word "Message"......one-at-a-time (No Bulk sending as with Email) I do not think anyone would be "bothered" enough to complain. Plus.....I prefer to "personalize MY messages to the NAME of the person ("Hello Dr Johnson" rather than "Attn: Person in charge of Marketing") However......with my PLR Videos I've found that using; "I've created a Video for You!"......gets them to Open the message where I further explain that "I've Created a Video Web Commercial for YOUR business!" This further Personalizes the Message so it's NOT considered "Spammy". Don Alm....looong time Marketing Guy |

I have found with emails also if you make them personal and INTERESTING not formal and uptight that people WILL open them and respond. I am thinking linkedin might work too but I have not done anything with my linkedin account. Trevor Last edited by teamplayer : May 27, 2015 at 02:05 PM. Reason: sentences jumbled |
