![]() Gordon, thanks for this post.... This is something I have to keep reminding myself about...!!
It's too easy to get caught up in doing a little bit of everything.... and then (unfortunately) achieving nothing.... It's a big trap, and I don't think it matters how smart you are, anyone can get caught up in this! > Dien and I will be unleashing a new project > soon, one that contains a lot of powerful > information that can help you get and keep > your FOCUS. YES, this will be available very soon.... We are putting it together right now.... For those who haven't seen it, I think they'll be very pleasantly surprised.... :) I feel very lucky having worked with Gordon.... I've learned a lot about deal-making (or buying and selling).... Also known as chatteling.... I've found out how lucrative it can be! It's something everyone can learn from Gordon's stuff.... It's amazing to me how many billionaires got their start by doing this. People like Ross Perot, who bought and sold horse saddles at the county fair as a kid. Or Kirk Kerkorian, who started out by buying and selling cars as a teenager, then worked his way up to buying and selling planes, and then to whole companies.... And mail order, or direct response, is very lucrative too.... Certainly one of the most successful direct response marketers in the world today is Benjamin Suarez, who hand-picked Gordon first hand to school him in the various jobs at SCI (Suarez Corporation Industries).... It's sometimes fun to have a "finger in every pie," but I agree, it's easier to become successful when you FOCUS.... I learned this first in the world of physics research. The most successful physicists are those who focus, who become experts in (at least) one thing.... Once you are an expert at one thing, then you can afford to try new things, but it can be a danger otherwise.... Great message! :) - Dien |
