Default The Best Principle Of Life And Business

Taylor Trump said and recommends this site on his site....if he said it is great ...it is great...

The greatest of all principles is The Law Of Compensation...Does everyone know it.?

Basically Give and you will Get.....More life give, give and give and you get....

It comes from the Bible and Emerson

Default It was a beautiful Sunday on Beach 8 at Presque Isle...unfortunately I ...

caught a little sore throat...and my recording schedule has been pushed back a couple of days.

HI Joe,

Welcome. Thanks for those thoughts, that is what SOWPUB is all about giving...

Last Sunday was PERFECT in Erie, wasn't it?

I used to work for a company called MACE ELECTRONICS, maybe you have heard of them?

Anyhow, it is nice to have you stop by. So many people NEED your wisdom, I hope you will share it here.

For those who don't know, Joe is a former IRS agent and an MBA, you want to talk TAXES, Joe is the one to talk to...

Emerson, Thoreau, the Bible, all good seed, if tended to. Thanks again Joe for coming by.

Default I remember Warren, I worked at Olson Electronics here in Akron...small world indeed..

No friends or family in Erie, I just like the beach...it's a little closer than the Atlantic, and the waves are the right size, ones that I can handle...

Besides, I can't pass up a coney dog and a orange sherbert twist on the way out...yummmy stuff...

There is a legend that a guy named Frenchy stole a lot of gold from Commodore Perry (actually the payroll for the civilian ship builders) and he supposedly made his way down here to Cuyahoga Falls and hid the gold...

I've been looking for it since I was 12...

But I've lost my fondness for crawling into dark wet caves, what was FUN once, just doesn't make it anymore...

anyhow, I do like Erie, I spent a whole week there one day...HA!

Hope you become a regular visitor.

Gordon

PS. I did TALK about the Internet while I was on the beach Joe, can I deduct the dog and ice cream as a business expense? he he

So where do you live now?

And you can deduct that food if you had a client and were discussing business. This is you have to have a business and it be business related.

If you have a business you and anyone that reads this should get my November newsletter. I am going to tell you how to pay zero tax. And it will be totally legal.

Default How about the Canfield Fair?

Gordon and Joe---As Labor Day approaches, fond
memories of The Canfield Fair come back to me. I
close my eyes and I can smell the Pizza, almost
taste the sausage and onion sandwiches, drool
over the sweet taste of the"elephant ears". Life
was so simple back then, growing up in Canfield.
Perhaps there are some stories here, about life
and living in the Youngstown, Ohio area.
Other memories include Evan's Field, The Westlake
Projects, Mill Creek Park, Idora Park, Lake Milton
and so many others.

Thanks for stirring the memories,
Bill Rhodes

Default Buckeyes

Bill, Gordon, & Joe,

On 202nd St. in Euclid in the '50s, Old Lady Raulflesch had the only buckeye tree in the neighborhood.

That old lady LOVED that tree. But every kid I knew collected buckeyes. She'd scream bloody murder if she saw a bunch of us shaking the tree, but we finally figured out when she took a nap, and we timed our visits.

Of course the buckeye wasn't any good for eating. And the nut was too light and small to do any damage when you threw it at the kids from 196th St.

But the smooth, shiny brown color was mesmerizing. I collected them for years.

In 1996, I took my wife & kids to Put-In-Bay & Cedar Point (hadn't been in 40 years), and found a buckeye tree somewhere in our travels.

Felt like I was 10 years old again.
