The man with the German accent...

He had a German accent, because he was from Germany.

He told me, the following is what he tells people.

Show me your talent.

I don't want to hear what you want from me. I don't want to hear what you can do.

Just show me your talent.

That's great advice.

He showed his talent. He was very famous in Germany. Put on some of the largest fashion shows. Ran one of the largest model agencies in the world.

Lived the upper echelon life. Shows in New York, Paris, Berlin.

Now, he does interior design - for the top people. Lives an easy life. Loves what he does.

Everything is taken care of for him - house cleaning, laundry, good food. He doesn't have to lift a finger, except to do what he loves. Lives in a penthouse with an ocean view.

I was talking to him about possibly supplying furniture he needs for his interior design (as I also do import and export). He had already bought some of the furniture we had imported.

I can't give his name here (I don't want to spoil my own opportunity here)!

But, that bit of advice that he gives to other people stuck with me.

Show me your talent.

If you do that, you can go places!
