At 12.5% fee...once again the middleman makes out.
Just wondering, at an average short term ROI of 28-32% IRR (Internal Rate of Return) has me crunching numbers.
Compare this with a option contract on a half a million dollar small yacht (lake yacht maybe?)... if executed could return twice that rate. I love the concept of being in between the buyer and seller, standing at the INTERSECTION of the transaction and collecting the dough from being there. There appears to be a lot of other fees too, transaction fees, etc. As for having the royalty contract in today's file sharing world, must be considered high risk with those huge Bernie Madoff type returns. I'm waiting for Leonard Cohen's "Gospel Christmas Album" rights, then I'll make my bid. Thanks Dien, great find, how many other IP auctions are out there? gjabiz PS. The man in the middle is one place to be, and seems to produce magical returns on time investments. Quote:
