the problem is they are self centered. Concerned about what people think of them.

Easy solution, think about the other person first, and foremost, do what is good for them. If what you are selling can't or doesn't do that...

then consider another line or product/service to offer.

A person in need of clinical help, probably should avoid this line of work.

I think, a fear could be a hindrance to one's growth especially in terms of business. We should be confident about ourselves. We need to be productive and knowledgeable about the services or products we want to sell. Rejection is normal but we have to be brave enough to try all the time. Think positive.
