Hi Gordon,

This can and does hit close to home!

Now... I've always seen myself as a "doer"... But sometimes...

Of course, sometimes health (i.e. the lack of it) gets in the way. But apart from that...

Sometimes life can get too comfortable!

One approach that works for me is a business joint venture with people I like spending time with. If you don't do your part, you feel guilty and it motivates you to get going!

However, sometimes people are "paralyzed" by being a bit too sensitive... What if the prospect doesn't like it? What if they reject it? What if they think lower of me for asking for their money?

Many people nowadays are not used to selling... But if you want to be in business, selling is a part of it. If nothing gets sold - it's not a business! It's a hobby!

To counter this (and I think Gordon alluded to this approach in a different post), I like to think "win/win"...

How do I win from this deal? How do they win?

If everyone wins... What's stopping you?!

Best wishes,

Dien
