It does seem that type 2 diabetes can be reversed...

It might require an extreme diet, which can be hard to do when you are very busy, juggling various projects...!

I have a friend who had type 2 diabetes, and over less than a year, he got rid of it! His secret? He exercised for several hours every day, and also went on a very restrictive diet.

The catch? He was able to spend all that time exercising because he had no job, and was living on unemployment benefits...

Maybe I need to slow down... (Easy to say, but it can be hard to do!)

No fruits, carbs, starches, high in protein

Many veg snacks several times a day.

His cure, eat little, eat often, eat to live...not live to eat.

He lived a long life; miserable, friendless and died of cancer.

But he cured his diabetes.

Well, maybe there is a balance to be had?

So much information out there contradicts each other! It's a confusing puzzle to know what to do.

On another note...

Sweden rejects the low-fat diet they recommend to diabetics in the USA (and many other places). Instead, the Swedes recommend diabetics eat a low-carb, high-fat diet...

I dunno... Those Swedes! All I know is that their low carb, high fat, low clothing (*) lifestyle could be for me!
