But that became 'old world' ways which were abandoned by the quick solutions of the day, including the freezer and then the microwave oven.

Some people still make their own soap, know how to sheer sheep and actually weave the wool, can butcher their own chickens or cows, pigs or wild turkeys.

All of these 'ole world' skills still have value and some of you, via reports, videos and classes can cash in today.

What we once considered to be daily mundane chores, are now a lost art and there is a market for your expertise.

As for my return to the candle making biz, well, let's just say...none of your beeswax. HA!

That reminds me of something I've found out about - though I haven't gone yet...

In my "neck of the woods" there is an annual fair... the "Lost Trades Fair"...

By "trades" they mean skilled trades - like soap making, and also others you might not think of such as spoon carving, silver smithing, dry stone walling, whip making, and so on...

I think there is an interest in these things out there. I haven't investigated it... But I wouldn't be surprised if people would pay to be a member of a membership website based on some of these "lost skilled trades"...
