![]() Once you are declared an employee and not a business, you can't split your income with your wife (or husband if you're a woman).
So all the income is thus yours and will most likely be taxed at the highest tax rate of 50 cents in the dollar. And to think... Australia is called "The lucky country". Deadliest critters. Over governed. Over taxed. Weak currency. Constant long-term droughts. Draconian gun laws. Six national free-to-air TV channels. $5 an hour internet access fees. $4 for a gallon of gas.
