![]() People can really eat up your time...
It's good to help people, but you have to make sure to "block out" time for yourself... I've had a lot of people (locally) wanting my help lately. I usually help out when people need it... But man, sometimes you need to "block out" some time for yourself, to get your own stuff done. That's what I'm doing today. I'm going to block out time for myself. I have a few projects I really want to get rolling on, so that's what I'm going to do! Just thought I'd share... For what it's worth... It's good to help people, but don't forget to help yourself too... ![]() Best wishes, Dien

So true, Dien. Distractions, distractions, distractions, are among the biggest challenges to being a productive DOER. No wonder so many suffer from ADD, ADHD, etc. Everything from emails, to phone calls, to text messages, to apps, to other alerts, updates, and notifications, to social media, and yes even forums... the list of things (and people) competing for our attention, goes on and on. I've improved greatly at staying more focused on what really counts, but have more room for improvement. Now, back to whatever I was supposed to be focusing on. But hey, at least I typed up some content that could be used as content in an article or infoproduct, related to productivity / time management. ~ Marty Foley |
