Default Advertising vs Referrals...what is going to happen.

Early reports from less locked downed areas.

No surprise that pizza shops and take-out/pick up restaurants are doing well, in fact, better than ever. The sit down are barely surviving, even if adding on pick up.

Will there be pent up demand for these sit down places, will they need to advertise?

I've spoken to many "essential" service people, plumbers, electricians, etc. and they are very busy, very, very busy.

A couple of them are NOT going to advertise, and plan on living off of REFERRALS only.

It will be a choice, and yes, yes, yes of course, those of you great salesmen will be raking in the big bux with your advertising programs...

there will be huge B O O M in the referral systems.

What you need to offer is a system, done for you, hands off, ready to go. It could be a CASH referral system, made to current and former customers, or some sort of rewards programs.

I feel there will be more discretion, more scrutiny on the advertising dollars spent, and more "show me results" from many a struggling business who may be on the brink of extinction.

Just for your consideration. HOW will these now shuttered businesses get their customers back and how will they get more and more of them?

Referrals are the backbone of the services/trades industry, a good time to be in the lead generator business too.
