I don't have as much of Bill > Myers' stuff as I'd like.... In addition to the videos I mentioned, get both volumes of the "Unfair Advantage Letter Books." Also get the letters on disk if you can. Some of the offers come that way. I got my copies in a "trade" deal because I already had the bonus that was offered with a product I bought. I used a letter Pat McAllister wrote as the basis for my "seminar that never was." *g* (The letter was in the book. The letter sold but the problem was the fact that I didn't start promoting as early as I should have for several reasons.) Like most classics, the principles used in the book are timeless. > Ted Nicholas appeared in the > "episode" of the "Direct Mail > Bootcamp" video I saw. It was cool > seeing many of these guys (Ted Nicholas, > Bill Myers, Gary Halbert) speaking.... You'll find that a lot of those guys and gals "show up" on the videos. Sometimes they're there as speakers, sometimes not. > One of the best places to get this kind of > stuff seems to be ebay.... Especially for > marketing reports, videos etc. that are > "out of print." I haven't had much luck with this on eBay. What search terms do you use or what sections do you check out? One time I found where one guy was selling several hundred dollars worth on one of the Buy and Sell forums. The price? $50 US plus S/H. I think it cost me $57.00 US or something like that. The cool part was that most of it was stuff I didn't have. *g* Rick Smith, "The Net Guerrilla" The New Home For Product Developers |
