There is one concept, and I find I am the only one who emphasizes and teaches it...being a bit out of mainstream, and misunderstood, and...
if you GET IT, your life gets easier. Changes automatically, creates new neural pathways, and simplifies dramatically what you do.
See, I believe we tend to over complicate things when it isn't really necessary, especially in selling, copywriting, content writing for reaction, or any monetary from of persuasion, me being or having become, a minimalist.
The one word is PREOCCUPATION. And I have harped on it for decades.
I won't get into the whole of Human Nature in this post, but from a practical, useful and money making viewpoint, is how I will address this.
See, we all are preoccupied.
And you can find either the Fatal Four, or as many as 31 different types of preoccupations, or our THOUGHTS.
I teach TWO. Types of thinking. Conscious and subconscious or subsurface.
Within those two, are the daily mundane, the moment, the job...where are current attention and focus are right now. And the life concerns.
Some come built in to us, like the needs for Oxygen, food, clothing, shelter and from there a whole pyramid of wants and needs. I use Maslow's basic pyramid for most areas of our thinking.
Daily moments need to be brought to attention when we are trying to influence others.
Life concerns, oddly, have many of us spending lots of time in our past. In some psychologies, like Self Image as presented by Maxwell Maltz devotees, we can draw value from the past, if we concentrate or focus on our successes, and the feelings at the time of those successes.
Life concerns include the past, present and the future, or our life. Uh, no duh, eh? But how can you use this information to benefit yourself today?
Good thing I showed up today.
Things, like selling and making money, become so much simpler when you become:
AWARE of the preoccupations,
UNDERSTAND what they are...
Correctly DETERMINE your target's state of mind.
Resonate and RELATE to their preoccupations
and offer either a
inspiration or motivation to help them resolve their preoccupation.
You make money when you offer one of the above to the right person at the right time. That is pretty basic, right?
