![]() Two thoughts. Of course you are right about business needing customers, and it is an always evergreen market.
So, why? Mainly because they go into business with little to no marketing background, and don't know what to do. Or how. Maybe a customized HOTSHEET for a specific business, and I'll give you examples in a moment. Along with a local ONLINE community, perhaps a low cost no brainer monthly fee to get ideas on community building. Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, we have two places where you can buy POPCORN, one is a dedicated popcorn store, and has been around almost two decades, the other a new comer, with popcorn being a part of their business, but just one of a dozen or so offers. So, two of the same, but not really. One HOTSHEET might be for an add on profit center, like the smaller shop and one HOTSHEET for the dedicated popcorn shop. Different strokes for different folks. But since they're both downtown, and part of an association, maybe they would want to be involved in a low cost (because most have been sold on C of C, BBB, Local Associations, etc., etc.) MARKETING specific website, which focuses on digital marketing as well. Since I know they DON'T have the TIME to do in depth research, that is what the HOTSHEET would provide, a compilation of success around the world, sort of like Dien's Hidden Business Ideas is. There is a lot of potential in this, and of course, many might retain a marketing consultant on a monthly retainer too. A lot of options to go this route. The second thought, of course, you know me...is I would carefully analyze the (wait it is coming)... the slop and mess; steps involved, contacts {how}, follow up, and people involvement. Every situation is different, but here is where I would probably go back to a default "marketing business" of promotions and business awareness, such as Steve DiMarco has built with his Business Card Connections business https://www.businesscardconnections.com/ Again, an analysis, a spreadsheet of time, steps, follow up/follow through would show which method would create the better model, or in my case, I would want to execute the MAX BUX/MIN TIME model. So, I think HOTSHEETS are a good idea, just have to say, if one keeps it simple and doesn't overcomplicate it, might just be a great stream of income.
