Another great post, Michael and . . .

it delineates the scope of global terrorism and the difficulty of countering such a variety of terrorist groups.

These posts definitely put our new war in perspective and demonstrate why a knee jerk reaction is the wrong thing to do, although emotionally we all want to retaliate in some fashion ASAP. It's difficult to fight fanatics, especially invisible fanatics.
