According to Jim Rohn... in a widely shared quote... you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with...

Let me tell you how this seems to be affecting me...

I've been spending more time lately with people who make $1 million+ per year... (I am in regular contact with three people who usually make that amount...)

And you know what?

That is starting to seem normal... as a result!

And... it's making me feel inadequate!

I'm doing okay... but I do feel like now I need to lift my "income" game...

So, that's how it can affect you...

It can put subtle pressure on you to do better... rather than feel complacent and rest on your "posterior"...

I'm generally not motivated by money (which may sound odd)... I'm actually super-motivated by curiosity... But having this amount seem "normal" is putting subtle positive pressure on me...

P.S. Can you make that amount ethically? The answer is "yes"... all three of the people I mentioned make the money ethically. But... it's next-to-impossible to do it by being paid a per-hour wage... You have to have do it with a business that "scales", selling a product your customers love...
