Looking at the numbers, you spent 20 bucks to get 3 winning lottery tickets. You got the thanks from one of the cooks. You got more food. You got more ice cream. Now, from a monetary standpoint, it looks like you got SOME benefit, but was the extra food and ice cream worth the $20? I wouldn't think so. HOWEVER, I am assuming you had someone with you and this extra attention impressed them. I am also assuming that effort caused people nearby to want to talk with you to find out what was going on. Am I right? Bottom line.... How much benefit did you get from the $20 you spent? Or is this something you won't find out until later? |
