The one about not telling your friends your plans?

There are some "gurus" out there whose advice I generally respect...

...Until they start talking about how you should launch your new ideas & projects with your family and friends. Since, according to them, they know, like and trust you

(By the way, that's part of why I love Gordon Jay's report that explodes some of those nice-sounding myths)

Well-meaning friends could innocently be the WORST audience to pitch new projects to.

Not necessarily because they're "haters".

New projects will often require a newer version of you. A version of you that your friends may not see now (or even be comfortable with)
