![]() Thanks Millard,
One of the REASONS for the Tarriffs are the Hundreds of thousands of Outright THEFTS being sold to Americans in the USA and other countries - world wide. (WE know that brand name Designer clothing, Handbags, shoes are RIPPED OFF and Sold everywhere.) I bought a Nifty new American Invented Mousetrap on Amazon.com. After watching a podcast interview. I got RIPPED OFF. I GOT the WRONG ONE. It was Cheaper. Had to Repurchase from The USA inventor Dude. The Reason Why? A RIPPOFF is being sold side by side with The Original At CHEAPER PRICES. A Chinese Company STOLE his company name. Product name. And Until the Tarriffs has been selling Their Knockoff version of HIS INVENTION. Side by side. For years and years and YEARS. And the USA guy can't do anything about it. The Chinese version is a Lot CHEAPER. And since I bought both. I can tell you the RIPPOFF is not as good. Anywho. Invisible but all thru MAJOR USA Companies are hundreds of similar blatant (BUT HIDDEN) - BRAND NAME RIPPOFF Products. Which are cheaper cuz they are DIRECT Rippoffs of an American Product. Thanks, Glenn P.S. - I just learned that AMAZON is planning to USE Ai to Insert the Difference in the prices - BEFORE and AFTER the Tarriffs. IF they Actually DO THAT. You will be able to SEE CLEARLY with Ai assisted 3D Glasses. Not all but many of the Rippoff Products. You can bet they don't INTEND for their Ai announcements to Highlight the products made in China - or Chinese affiliate RIPPOFF Factories. But KNOWING what is really going on - You can SEE thru the FOG. Last edited by Glenn : May 5, 2025 at 03:57 AM. Reason: oops |

![]() Thanks Glenn for the advice about the ripoffs. Sheesh, ya gotta watch everything nowadays.
Your post about cheap copies got me to thinking about how AI works to copy things. So, I did some more experimenting. I saw a video on Youtube of Julia McCoy who created a clone of herself and proceeded to do the same. Haven't got the voice cloned yet, but according to most AI guys, Eleven Labs is the go-to place to get that done. I have to admit, AI did a good job of replicating my face. I used ChatGPT for one image and AIRFLOW produced four different images that ALL looked like me... in remarkable detail. The positive side of this is that someone could produce quite a bit of content to teach others without having to spend hours in front of a camera. The STRONG negative I see, is that this technology will only get better and the possibility for DEEPFAKES will increase dramatically and it will be tough determining what is truth and what is fiction. Be prepared for shenanigans! |
