![]() Hi Tim,
> What kind of audio? Money-making stuff or > some other interest? > Just curious and thanks, Well, this is a longer-term goal for me, but it probably wouldn't be money-making stuff. I honestly think that the "how to make money" market is quite saturated.... I think there are a lot of easier markets out there. My background is that when I was an undergrad student, I was heavily involved in the university student-run radio station, and I also did a fortnightly show on a local public radio station. The university radio station also had a pre-production studio, and a couple friends and myself would sometimes use this to make our own productions. What we did were mostly parodies of popular advertisements of the time, along with a couple of song parodies too. Then I'd play them on my show. :) Anyhow, from those days I have some basic studio skills (such as basic mixing). I can see a lot of possibilities, but it's not really clear precisely what I'd do yet.... It would be a matter of seeing what it is people would want to buy first (by looking at what's selling at various places, like on Amazon.com or on ebay). Probably it would partly be interviews (very easy to do, but I would still personally want some basic editing facilities), and maybe some other kinds of products too.... Audio products have a great mark-up though.... That's quite attractive from a product-developer's perspective. :) - Dien Rice |
