Getting more traffic to your site will not necessarily mean more sales, as your copy has to be very, very good also. I would re-arrange your home page so that it is not just all text, one line after another. You should have short paragraphs with headlines for each that scream "benefits" throughout your page. Also, you need one main headline at the top of the page that describes what main problem you're solving for clients. This headline and your first couple of paragraphs must have keyword phrases in them that match your HTML Meta title and your Description Meta Tag.

You should also use bullets in some of your text - for example lists of benefits for whatever ...

To get more traffic from search engines, the above will help, but, to learn more about exactly how to do it fast :

1. Go to http://www.rankright.com Look for free articles on Meta Keyword and Meta Description tags.

2. Go to http://searchenginewatch.com to learn some of the search engine secrets.

3. An absolute must is to go to http://www.wordtracker.com and use their free trial software at their site. You type in keyword phrases and it will give you a list of the leading phrases "keyed by real users" on the Alta Vista search engine. Look for K.E.I. numbers over 400 and you'll have the "proper keyword phrases" to use at your site. These high KEI phrases will give you higher rankings on the search engines for those phrases.

Try and use keywords that your competitors are not using. For instance, if you just use the word "travel", you'll be competing against the biggest companies in the world who offer travel and who have thousands of links to their sites from other sites. The bottom line - you'll be lucky to rank on the first 2 pages.

4. Here's a new secret for you and I'm not getting paid to say this, but, the search engines will rank you higher if you have a large number of other sites linking to yours, especially big sites. 5. When registering with Search Engines, the best way to do it is by yourself. The most important start is to use the Inktomi.com Paid Inclusion service. This is the best service out there and it will list your site pages with MSN, Hotbot, Google (also Google-Yahoo) and others. This should give you a great start. They re-index their site every 48 hours, so, it is fast and if you use their paid service, they'll list you much faster.

If you follow these steps, time consuming though they may be, you'll succeed faster than you could ever have imagined.
