Re Business 1: Senior computer classes. My mother in law took computer classes from another senior citizen in a classroom situation. THe cost was $75 per course taken, ranging from how to work the hardware to Word, Excel, email, etc.

It was pretty basic and didn't seem to take well, as my wife is forever re-teaching her mom how to do things on her computer - could be the student, however:-) The instructor has no website that I know of, just sponsored by the local senior center and well regarded by most students. The instructor is a retired association executive.

Business 5: Resume service/career services. INterestingly enough, I got a blind email from a company called Internet Recruiting Group Inc. offering a home based recruiting biz op - you do the face-face using their software and (I guess) web services. I sent for their video and info kit this past week - will let you know what I get.

Also, you may recall I passed a resume writing training course link to you from the American Writers Institute (?) last spring. Will see if it's somewhere down in the ancient email files!

The man with a van is an excellent concept, as the only competition around here is the $25 per half hour truck rental from Home Depot.
