The article below is about a successful store which sells products to quilting enthusiasts! Essentially, if there's a hobby, then there is a business in it.... Niche businesses are probably among the EASIEST type of businesses for the "small business-person" to succeed at.... The reason why is because you are not competing with the Wal-Marts and the Amazon.com's, but you may have the area largely to yourself.... I hope this helps to give some ideas.... The main essence is that you don't have to try to emulate Wal-Mart -- that's a path to disaster.
