Default Still On the Street No Sweating

Just an update to my experiences selling on the street.

Now that the weather is much cooler, it is far better being on the street talking to people and making sales.

In my experience in the last three months, I’ve found that the restaurant owners who I’ve talked to about my restaurant book either like it or they don’t. It’s as simple as that.

But when you’re out talking to people, you get other things falling in yer lap as well.

One restaurant owner said he thought I was going to put my books in ALL the hotel rooms so he wasn’t interested in just lobby books. Then the next day, I talk with an owner of a barter service who says I can get all the printing I want to make restaurant books to place in hotel rooms, if I give him a percentage. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?

Another place I walk into has a local market and local drug store attached...but a new Walgreens is opening down the street and further down is a Wal-Mart. So I talk to the owner of the drugstore about some special promotions to help his business fight the BIG BOYS.

There is PLENTY of opportunity out there. The BIGGEST challenge I face, is to stay FOCUSED.

I have always thought I was a kid in a candy store. There’s money everywhere...calling my name. With it, I can do so much to help folks and give.

Now is the time to git off yer toosh and git cracking....

Being on the street, talkin’ to folks and making a living...there’s nothing like it.
