Thanks for telling us about your day. I'd like to Object to a Common Phrase Debunk - yes, I need to Debunk the Debunking. Let me explain... You wrote... Quote:
As if to Debunk the common held thought, "It takes money to make money". However, the common phrase is More Right than the debunk. You see, it Does take money to make money. Maybe not your own, but somebody's. Because as Glenn has be known to say... ALL money comes from other people. So while you might Think you did what you did without money, that's not actually accurate. It did take money - some of your own to buy folders, or someone else's to buy folders; the money which had been invested into the hotels in the first place - without which you would have No location. And so on. You might think this is being Picky. But it is Not. It is being Accurate, the alternative is just plain sloppy. Sloppy like saying, "The sun went behind some coulds," or likewise. So I am Debunking the debunk. It DOES take money to make money... just not always your own. Michael Ross |
