Hi Jessika (with a "K"),

I haven't heard of the company in question, and what the fook is triple opt-in?

If you're not looking to build a list from scratch and instead buy subscribers then I think you're going to have problems regardless of which company you use.

Jessika, I've read about world wide lists in other places and they are not good to deal with, as you discovered. I have no personal experience with them as I, like most other reputable marketers, would not even consider purchasing lists of that type.

Suggest you re-read the response with an open mind. Doing so might enable to you to see the help that was offered in the other post you summarily dismissed.

FYI: responding as you did is the way board spammers usually react. Hope you're not in that category. We gave you benefit of the doubt either way.

Sandi.

I'm NO spammer! I followed the advice of the
biggest names in the biz.

Terry Dean and many others claim WorldWideLists
is great.

I really need to hear from someone who's actually
used them.

As for being a real, honest marketer, I also use
PPC advertisng, article submissions, etc to build
my list.

Charmed I'm sure.

The big name's are often quick to praise something that's going to make them a quick buck.

As previously stated, in future, build your own list. If it looks too good to be true then it normally is.

If it's a list building tips and techniques e-book, good; but these list building "programs" tend to be very pyramid scheme like.

Jessika, thanks for the reassurance about not being a spammer. Was hoping that was true. BTW, welcome to the forum.

Terry Dean and others are very good, I have no doubt, as he has helped me in the distant past. You will learn that there is a 'good old boy' network on the internet, just as there is in any business environment. This has both pluses and minuses to it.

Most of the advice you get will be right on target at the time they used it, or they recommend it to you but you must also recognize that people and businesses evolve. Sometimes businesses evolve in ways we wish they hadn't and, unless our experience is recent, a recommendation is virtually useless. My advice is to keep that in mind when accepting or rejecting recommendations, no matter who it came from.

Terry wouldn't deliberately steer anyone wrong (he's an above-board kind of guy to my knowledge) but businesses change over time and oopses can happen. Thought you might like to keep that in mind.

Wishing you all due success always.
