Hi Phil, I'm not aware of that book (hopefully someone here would know).... I DO have Gerardo Joffe's book, "How You Too Can Make At Least $1 Million (But Probably Much More) In The Mail-Order Business". It's a great book - about how to start and build a catalog business. I highly recommend it! I think it's out of print, but if you hunt around you may be able to find a second-hand copy somewhere. I was looking around for information on Karl Bach, after reading your post. I found this quote from him: "When you are in business you must have a cash register. And your cash register must ring everyday. If it does not ring, write zero for the day!" You don't need a literal cash register. How you can use this is to write down your sales on a calendar every day, and if you don't make a sale, write zero! I'm going to do this myself - it sounds like a great motivational technique. :) - Dien Rice |
