Something to SERIOUSLY consider with the Daily Special Boards
In my research on this project I found TWO businesses who have been providing "Lighted" Daily Special Boards (with Ads at the bottom)
BOTH of the owners of these bizes told me they had an unfortunate experience with them where a customer bumped into one of their Boards causing it to fall over on another person. In one case, it was a 10yr old boy, and the Board hit his foot and broke it. The other case was an 82yr old women who banged into the side of the board, broke her glasses, fell down and broke her hip (older people have brittle bones) BOTH of these case involved the restaurant's INSURANCE COMPANY getting involved AND...the restaurant's Insurance Company looked to the SUPPLIER OF THE BOARDS! So...if YOU are placing Boards in a "public" place.....YOU....as the "Manufacturer" COULD be involved in a 'Damage Suit". So...before placing any Boards in a 'public" area, contact an Insurance agent about a "Public Liability" policy. Don Alm $3,000/wk from Restaurants |
