Put your sales letter on a website in the normal manner, then insert the link in a simple introductory email. Master marketer, Mark Joyner (Aesop.com) has used this technique for his weekly newsletter "The Killer Tactics Journal" very successfully for years now. The other advantage of doing it this way, is that you can install a tracking script on the webpage to gauge the response and clickthroughs. Just my two cents.
