Re: Help! "It's Alive" and I don't know what to do with it!
Hi Paul:
Try this (read it all the way through) as an introduction... Dear Friend, When I sat down to write this I knew I had a problem... > My new ebook > "Google Secrets Exposed" has > literally taken on a mind of it's own! It is > no longer a book on how to get more and > better search positions for your site, but a > complete website marketing plan. > As you know, SEO, or any other aspect of > internet marketing must be interwoven with > all the other aspects in order for it to be > a truly effective and self sufficient > overall plan. > In order to get better positions on Google, > one of the ranking elements in the algorythm > is link popularity. Essentially, the > "psychology" behind it is that if > other sites link to yours, that's a vote of > confidence from their site for yours. The > more votes your site has the higher your > listing moves up the search results list. > But what I've done with the Google Secrets > book is get really deep into the psychology > thing - to the point where the actual SEO > portion of the book has become secondary, > almost an afterthought to the overall > psychology of internet marketing in > general!! > That's a good thing...its unusual and a > fresh approach... except now what do I > concentrate on in the salesletter? > It's going to sound ridiculous if I try and > say that a search engine > "psychology" can create multiple > profit streams for your website. > And there's also the problem with the fact > that I've developed (adapted) several link > generating strategies into that > "continuous loop" thing. > Then there's the split run testing thing - > probably the most effective keyword and > phrase research technique on the web today. > Never seen it used in this manner before but > it works incredibly well. And that's my problem... > How do I go about writing a salesletter that > tells you "This Google Psychology > thing can create a massive amount of direct > and residual highly targeted traffic to any > web site and make you lots of money"?? > without it sounding like a hyped up, > too-good-to-be-true piece of crap?? > How do I make it believable when I tell > you that you can realistically generate > thousands of profitable links and multiple > top 10 search positions with the info in > this book?? The more I think about how to tell you about this book without it sounding like hype, the more difficult it seems. So instead of bursting a blood vessle trying to figure it out, let me just tell you about my book in more detail, as best as I can - not being a professional copywriter. I'll leave it to you to decide if it's full of hype or not. |
